It’s genuinely a highlight of the week - simple, meaningful, and full of connection. 🩵

One thing about me? I’m gonna teach my students about the world 🌎 They’re gonna know that the world is so much bigger than the tiny bubble we live in.

Creating virtual field trips to countries all over the world has been my favorite creative outlet - a way to blend my love for travel, teaching, and culture into something that sparks curiosity far beyond our classroom walls.

Today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. 🤍

Now that I’m showing up in this space again, it feels like the right time to share about the loss of my son - an experience that changed me forever.

In September 2023, my husband and I found out we were expecting twins. Less than a month later, our baby boy was diagnosed with Trisomy 18, a rare condition that causes severe and often fatal complications.

The months that followed were dark, heavy, and full of unknowns as we focused on giving both babies every chance we could.

On February 18, 2024, I gave birth to Tyson and Leighton. Tyson spent a few precious hours with us before becoming our forever guardian angel. Leighton is now 18 months and thriving in ways I never could have imagined.

To all the parents remembering their angels today - your story matters. If you’re in a dark place, I hope this is a small reminder that you’re not alone. 🤍
